Faithful Days

Privacy Policy

Effective 28 October 2026.

Faithful Days is a phone app made by Cameron Ashley (Ashbi Design), the developer. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: nothing is collected and nothing is shared.

Your data stays on your device

Your routines, reading history, plans, notes, meeting preparation, assignments, settings and badges are stored on your device only. There are no accounts, no advertising and no analytics, and the app contains no third-party software that collects data. Your spiritual activity is never uploaded to the developer or anyone else.

Backups

A backup is a file that you choose to export from Settings → Backup. Where you save it is up to you. Backups are not encrypted, so keep them private. Importing a backup replaces the data on that device after you confirm. Your phone’s own backup service may also include app data.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled locally on your device, with your permission. They are not sent from a server.

The daily What’s New check

Once a day, the app requests the public What’s New RSS feed from jw.org. It reads only each item’s identifier and publication date, so it can count how many items are new to you. The request is an ordinary web request and sends no personal data from the app: no account details, routines, notes or app identifier. As with any web request, jw.org’s servers see normal network information such as your IP address. This check is on by default. You can switch it off in Settings, and the app then makes no network requests of its own.

Links

Opening a link leaves Faithful Days and opens your browser or another app, such as JW Library. That destination’s privacy practices apply.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app removes the data it holds on your device. Backup files that you exported are separate; delete them yourself if you no longer want them.

Children

Faithful Days is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Questions? See the support page.
